Accessories and products to transform your first car
After a tremendous amount of time, effort and money, you’ve finally gone and passed your driving test (hopefully the first time). It’s all about to become worth it when you experience the feeling of freedom on an open road in your very own car.
If you’re fortunate enough to be able to share a car with either your mum, dad or partner, this blog may not be much help to you but let’s say you’ve managed to pick up your very own car. Yes it’s a little rough around the edges and it’s clocked a few miles, but it’s yours and we all know you’re most likely going to contribute to a few knocks and scrapes to it soon enough.
However, this car is going to change your life and you can’t help but love and adore it. No doubt you’ll clean it several times within the first month but you may perhaps look at it and wish it looked a little bit better and not quite so… tired?
Let the makeover begin
Starting with the exterior, there are a few simple touches we can make to transform your tired looking car. Firstly the wheels – Is your car on full metal alloys or are they wheel covers/trims. Wheel trims will be a plastic cover that goes over a basic alloy, a new drivers’ best friend as you get to learn the spacing of your car and the distance from the curb. Due to these being plastic and an easy element to damage, you may find a new wheel trim that can offer instant improvements to the look of your vehicle. It’s safe to pick up a wheel trim fitting kit as these can have a tendency to fly off if not fitted correctly.
Going round to the back of the car, how’s that exhaust looking? An exhaust trim or tailpipe just gives a look of quality which is why many new vehicles have them on display and even opting for “fake” exhausts to fit in. Our range of exhaust trims can be easily fitted to give a sporty edge or stylish finish to your beloved motor.
Those headlights look awfully dim and yellow and make the car look even older than it is. Two things to help here. First, our headlight restoration kit helps remove the oxidation of an older headlight unit, improving the look and performance of lights. Secondly, get yourself some performance bulbs. The brighter bulbs give off a whiter light which is not only brighter but looks great too!
It’s actually an item that is fitted to the interior of your car but it looks great from the outside. We’re of course talking about window tints. It’s most likely that you spent your savings on buying your first car so a cheaper option is our DIY window tint film and sun strips. These will not only benefit you from glare and heat, but it will also make give your car a touch of elegance.
For convenience and to protect your pride and joy, a door guard is more useful than you’d initially think. I can pretty much safely say, every driver at some point bangs their door on something sooner or later.
