We have loved getting out and about again this year at trade shows and events. Meeting customers, colleagues and peers in our industry is exciting, inspiring and a real driver in our enthusiasm to continue to develop, grow and improve. And, right now, we’re really looking forward to AAPEX 2022 in Las Vegas! It’s at the Venetian Expo, and as it was voted as one of the Top 100 Trade Shows in 2021 by Trade Show Executive, we know it’s going to be a brilliant event.
AAPEX is all about discovering the latest repair needs, new-to-market products and latest technology. There’s also a great range of hands-on training and opportunities to network and connect with peers in the industry. The event is open to all those in the automotive aftermarket industry and entrants are subject to review and approval by the event management team, but once you’re in, there’s so much in store!
One of the stand out events to see during the show is the key note speaker James Carville. James ‘’The Ragin’ Cajun’’ Carille is a political consultant, and he will be joined by iconic political strategist Karl Rove to discuss The 2022 Midtrms and beyond. This will take into account the political landscape in 2022 and how that will affect the industry, and projections for the future. Both speakers will take questions too to invite an interactive experience for attendees. This will be a brilliant opportunity to learn more about the political projections in the US for 2023 and how that can affect everyone in the industry, no matter their geography.
Other brilliant aspects of the event are the Service and Repair awards. Shop Owner of the Year, Service Advisor of the Year and Technician of the Year will be announced during the keynote session. The awards will honor service and repair professionals who have performed above and beyond in 2022 and who demonstrate a commitment to training, as well as community, charitable and industry involvement.

Historically, the event draws approximately 2,500 exhibiting companies that display innovative products, services and technologies that keep the world’s 1.3 billion vehicles on the road.
