What we got up to at Automechanika, Frankfurt

Automechanika Frankfurt is one of, if not the biggest event in the aftermarket. So, it’s only right that we attend and have a stand there. We’ve done this a few times in the past and this year automotive accessories and our team were back in Hall 3.

We were sharing a large stand with our associated business FRSH Scents which we have done in the past and it’s always worked well for us. .

Automechanika in numbers

To put it in the simplest terms, Automechanika Frankfurt was a success. We had:

·       5 days

·       8 lunch/dinner meetings

·       Over 150 new connections made

·       New connections from more than 20 countries

·       5 interviews with journalists

·       15+ product groups on display

·       Approx 2,000 pictures taken of the stand

Our goal for Automechanika Frankfurt was simple: tell everyone what we offer. We believe that we achieved this, through our conversations, as well as the amount of traffic on our stand.

Invisible Glass

One of our focuses of the show was to launch a new product: Invisible Glass wiper blades. We got the licence to manufacture and distribute wiper blades for Invisible Glass late last year. During the last year, we’ve manufactured and tested the product within an inch of its life. It’s why we can confidently say, it’s the best wiper blade in the market. The Ceramic Silicone beam blades are built with a premium silicone rubber element, more resistant to extremes of heat than traditional rubber blades. Silicone rubber resists warping under high temperatures and remains flexible in extreme cold temperatures to avoid cracking.

Furthermore, the silicone rubber element deposits a rain repellent coating on the windshield – resulting in water simply beading up and running off the screen to further improve vision and safety. This blade has been proven to last up to 4x longer than industry standard wiper blades. We’ve even done independent durability testing putting the blades through their paces to more than two million wipe cycles!
