When you’re adding new products every week/month, it’s easy to forget some of the particularly great products we’ve added to the Simply Brands line-up over the last year. We’ve crunched the numbers and taken a vote on what our customers & personal favourite products are, including tools, accessories, gadgets and more.
Simply tools were a big winner!
We have quite a few petrol heads and DIY’ers here at Simply Brands who are particularly fond of the latest Simply Tools additions. Starting with the screwdriver range for any home owner’s arsenal, the 58-piece screwdriver set. Covid-19 meant that during lockdown there was a whole new generation of DIY-er’s born, encouraging sales within the home improvements and DIY sector, increasing by almost 50% last year alone. This year the figures continue to climb when compared to years before, so it’s obvious that this summer was all about getting things done!
Simply Brands all started with our passion for reliable car care and maintenance products, so it’s been a real pleasure this year to see the tool range grow and further benefit our automotive roots. One product that continues to be a fan favourite is the 21pc Brake Wind-Back Tool Set which as any car enthusiast would agree, is a great tool to add to the collection. Simply Living climbed the ladder
Our Home Security entries have spoken for themselves this year! Home security products on the market have increased significantly during the last couple of years, so naturally our affordable Smart Doorbell was a perfect addition for any homeowner. Helping you keep an eye on things while out on that staycation or just a bit of peace of mind while you are sleeping.
Additionally, our Home Security Camera was another popular product this year with its two-way audio, motion detection, real-time video and clear night vision, it’s been a big hit with our distributors, stockists and consumers.
With us spending more time than ever in our homes due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a lot of homeowners looked at lavish home improvements including home bars, new patios and flash summer houses. This inevitably made our Rattan exterior furniture range incredibly popular, including our versatile hanging egg chair. With its stylish and chic design, it perfectly complements itself anywhere in your garden or even indoors whilst adding a touch of elegant charm.
Following on, it’s no surprise that our electric patio heater was next on our list as the perfect addition to any garden. With the increase in home & garden improvements, there has seen a surge of people staying at home over the weekend. Our simple plug-in and go patio heater allows people to spend even more time outdoors, even when the cooler autumn nights kick in.
Our new products shined through when it came down to car care
Car care is something we’ve always been dedicated to, so it’s no surprise that our heavy-duty sports seat protectors have been a popular product this past year. The quality of the product combined with its hard-wearing polyester material, makes it a customer’s choice when it comes to protecting their pride and joy from wear and tear. Not only great at protecting the car from dirt and spillage, but they are also washable making it an easy pick for the top spot.
Naturally, even the most well-covered car seat is prone to the occasional crumb or debris from the tip run so our cordless and rechargeable Handheld Hoover became a popular product for anyone. Compact and easy to clean, it’s everything you need for those smaller spaces needing a quick clean.
Finally, and to no surprise, our electric vehicle charging cables have been a huge success, whether that be a replacement cable or just as a spare if the worse is to happen. As a much more cost-effective alternative to buying from the dealership, our cables provide a popular choice for the hybrid or fully electric vehicle owner.
